What is this product and who is it for?

Wash & Care double pack is two Wash & Care 315 ml packs in one purchase. Wash & Care is a liquid detergent for technical, membrane and water-resistant textiles: rain jackets, waders, tents, backpacks and textile footwear. One cycle takes 45 ml, so a single pack covers about seven washes and the bundle about fourteen.

What problem does it solve?

Technical clothing needs washing more often than people think: dirt and sweat clog the fabric, and both breathability and water-repellency drop. The catch is that for an active user a single 315 ml pack runs out after about seven washes, and once it does you wait for the next delivery. Wash & Care double pack solves that simply: two packs in one delivery, about fourteen washes. The limit: this is a detergent, it does not restore water-repellency, which needs a separate treatment.

Which materials does it suit, and which does it not?

If water-repellency also needs restoring, Mountval Waterproofing Refresher 300 ml or a bundle with both products fits better. Wool needs Mountval Wool Wash 300 ml, down needs Mountval Down Wash 300 ml. A bundle is two separate factory packs, not one mixed product. Use each product according to its own label and in the order described below.

How do you use it step by step?

1. Empty the pockets and close the zips.
2. In the machine pour 45 ml, roughly half a cap, per cycle, for up to two garments.
3. By hand: 45 ml in 10 litres of warm water, soak for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Rinse thoroughly in cold water and do not use fabric softener.
5. Dry on a hanger, ideally in a well-ventilated place.

Store in the original pack between +5 and +30 °C. The number of washes is approximate: it is calculated from the 45 ml dose the manufacturer states for one cycle and depends on how many garments you wash at a time.
