The bundles follow the manufacturer's care chain: cleaning or washing first, impregnation or leather feeding only after that. One step without the other works worse, because on a dirty surface the coating forms unevenly. Every bundle is matched to a specific material, and the bundle price is lower than buying the same products one by one.

Why are the products sold in pairs?
Because that is how the manufacturer tells you to use them. Mountval Wash & Care 315 ml and Mountval Waterproofing Refresher 300 ml can work in the same wash cycle: the detergent goes into the main compartment and the impregnation into the softener compartment. Boot care follows the same logic: the cleaner first, then the impregnation, because nobody removes dirt with an impregnation spray.
How do you choose a bundle?
By material, not by price. Membrane and technical textiles need one pair, wool and down another, leather and suede a third. If you are not sure what the material is, check the care label on the item or write to us and we will pick it for you.
Can you put together your own bundle?
Yes. All the same products are sold separately as well: impregnation and protection products and washing, cleaning and freshening products. A bundle helps with two things: the price is lower than buying one item at a time, and you do not have to guess what goes with what.
What a bundle does not do
It does not make an item waterproof and it does not repair a damaged membrane, leaking seams or tears. Care restores the properties of the surface, while structural defects are fixed by repair only.

Are the products in a bundle the same as bought separately?
Yes. They are the same original manufacturer packages in the same sizes, only collected into one purchase and with a lower total price.
Is a bundle worth buying?
A bundle costs less than the same products bought separately, and delivery is free from 40 €, so one larger order often costs less than two separate ones.
Which bundle suits a GORE-TEX jacket?
The one that contains Waterproofing Refresher. Across the whole Mountval range, GORE-TEX compatibility is stated by the manufacturer for this product only.
Does a bundle work as a gift?
Yes, it is the usual choice as a gift for an angler, a hunter, a hiker or a motorcyclist, because the products suit gear of any size and model.
How long does one bundle last?
It depends on use. There is one practical sign: when water stops beading up and starts darkening the surface, it is time to repeat the impregnation, and to clean the item before that.
